Director – Philip Game
Philip set up Shire Financial Services in 2006 after training with Countrywide. He is married to Danielle and they have 2 children. They are active in property investing and Philip speaks at several Landlords events. Philip previously worked for PwC for 11 years where he trained as an Accountant. He played and coached National League Volleyball in Cambridge taking the team to be ranked 5th in the Country.
Director – Danielle Game
Danielle helped set up Shire in 2006 with Philip. She has a strong sales background being one of Yellow Pages top sales people, when they were a FTSE 100 company. She is now Shire’s Insurance Specialist working 3 days per week. Alongside Shire she runs an award winning Weight Loss Consultancy and manages her and Philip’s Property portfolio. She enjoys flipping properties and has completed 4 in the last couple of years. Keeping fit is also important to her and she is a Black Belt in martial arts, Kuk Sool Won.
Mortgage Consultant – Jonathan Darrell
Following a 23 year career in education, Jonathan decided on a change to financial services in 2008. He worked in Cambridge with Cambridge Building Society then at a small brokerage, before moving to Shire in 2013. His philosophy is to treat clients how he likes to be treated and offer ‘old fashioned’ service values. Jonathan is an experienced mortgage and insurance adviser. He is married with four children. His interests include music, sport (especially supporting Arsenal) and travel.
Mortgage Consultant – Charlie Crisp
Charlie joined Shire in November 2016, having previously worked for Barclays Bank for 23 years covering various management roles that included commercial and residential lending. Charlie has completed his banking exams as well as CeMAP. In his spare time he is a keen sportsman especially cycling, squash and badminton; he also enjoys exploring the world with his wife, Kim.
Mortgage Consultant –Gary Le-Gallienne Gary joined Shire in 2019 as a Mortgage Consultant and has been in the Financial Services Industry for over 25 years . Gary prides himself on providing the best service possible by supporting his clients through every step of the mortgage process. He is particularly passionate about helping the more mature generation to stay in their homes and live life to the full, through Equity Release or other later life mortgage schemes. Gary is married with 3 children. In his spare time he enjoys gardening, family days out, long walks with their border terrier and keeping tropical fish.
Mortgage Consultant – Heather Reed
Heather is from a financial background with over 6 years’ experience as a Mortgage Broker. Having worked for Lloyds Bank, she was also a Branch Manager too. Heather joined Shire in June 2022 and is incredibly organised, efficient and loves seeing things through from start to finish. Challenging and interesting cases are something Heather really enjoys; there is nothing more satisfying than finding a solution for a client who thinks they cannot get a mortgage! Outside of work Heather enjoys spending time with her husband, son, family and friends. She loves working out in the gym and generally keeping fit and active.
Mortgage Consultant – Amy Hunting
Amy joined Shire in 2023 with 6 years of experience a Mortgage Consultant, plus an additional 4 years working many different roles within Lloyd’s Banking Group. Amy is very enthusiastic about helping clients fulfil their mortgage needs from start to finish. She considers herself as a very well organised, friendly, and efficient person. Amy is willing to challenge herself daily, to make sure she is achieving the right outcome for her clients. Outside of work Amy enjoys making memories with her partner, son, family, and friends who also enjoy the delicious cakes she bakes!
Dayna Smyth – Administrator
Dayna joined Shire in September 2022 and has come from a Customer Service industry background with supervisory experience. She loves to work with a busy schedule as she is extremely well organised and has a great ‘can-do’ attitude! Dayna has a keen interest in the mortgage market having just bought her first house, so she has experienced the process first hand. She loves spending time with her boyfriend, friends and family.
Courtney Dove – Administrator
Courtney joined Shire in June 2022. She has previous experience in administration and customer service roles, having a keen eye for detail and works very efficiently. Outside of work she loves to socialise and also has a passion for music having a Bachelors Degree in Commercial Music. Courtney can also hold a tune having performed in her local pub!
Megan Brookes – Administrator
Megan joined Shire in 2023 and has a strong background in Mortgage Administration having worked in this role for Saffron Building Society and has a BSC (Hons) in Accounting and Finance. She also has a great deal of experience in Customer Service ensuring that clients are at the forefront of everything she does. In her spare time, Megan enjoys going on trips away, attending music events with friends & family, baking and going for walks in the countryside.
